Can’t attend the conference live? No problem! Following GURU Conference, we’ll create a dedicated Recertification course containing the selected conference recordings, key resources and everything you need to refresh your knowledge.

    Complete a quick knowledge check

    Once you’ve completed the required learning, you’ll take a short knowledge check. This isn’t about catching you out! It’s simply there to confirm that you’re up to date with the important changes, strategies and ideas shaping email marketing right now. Everyone will complete the knowledge check before becoming recertified, whether you attend GURU Conference live or complete the course afterwards.

  • Step 3
    Become officially recertified

    Once you’ve successfully completed the knowledge check, you’ll receive a brand-new annual certificate, a new badge, and your status for another year and access to exclusive content and Certified GURU perks Rather than extending your original certificate, you’ll receive a new recertification certificate each year, giving you an up-to-date credential you can proudly share with your network.

  • What if my certification expires before GURU Conference?

    Don’t panic - we’ve got you! If your current Certified GURU status is due to expire before GURU Conference, we’ll temporarily extend it so that you have the opportunity to complete the new recertification process. We’ll contact eligible Certified GURUs directly with more information about the extension and what you need to do next.

  • Do I have to attend GURU Conference live?

    No. We’d love to see you there, but we know that isn’t possible for everyone. If you can’t attend live, you’ll be able to complete the dedicated Recertification course after the conference instead.

  • Will I need to complete the knowledge check if I attend live?

    Yes. Everyone will complete the short knowledge check before receiving their new recertification certificate and badge.

  • Which GURU Conference sessions will count?

    We’re currently selecting the sessions that will form part of this year’s recertification programme. We’ll share the full details before GURU Conference.

  • How long will my recertification last?

    Your new recertification will be valid for another 12 months.

  • Will my existing certificate be updated?

    Instead of extending or updating your original certificate, you’ll receive a brand-new annual Recertified Certificate and digital badge.

  • What happens if I don’t recertify?

    If you decide not to complete the recertification process, your current Certified GURU certificate and badge will expire and your Certified GURU status will no longer be active. Plus, you may lose access to exclusive Certified GURU content and perks But don’t worry, we’ll give you plenty of information and support to help you complete the process.
